Russell Van Homrigh Financial Services is a financial planning business located in Brendale, North Brisbane. We understand that people are busy which is why we offer appointments both in the office but also at your home or business during business hours or at night.. Our aim is to provide the most appropriate, informed advice, whilst understanding that work and family pressures influence your ability to effectively manage your family’s future security and business matters.
Our motivation is you. We believe that you, our client, need a thorough understanding of your financial affairs and we work closely to ensure they understand our advice process. We talk with you without the jargon and catch phrases and ensure our process is consultative to ensure that each client leaves an appointment feeling informed, aware of our processes and most importantly, have peace of mind with your financial decisions.
Russell Van Homrigh Financial Services can help you with your Superannuation, insurance, budgeting and retirement planning. We provide all our clients with options and allow you, as the client, to choose the best fit for you and your personal needs and objectives. We have the ability to review a list of providers to ensure that you are not only adequately covered, but at a competitive cost.
Russell has been in a Financial Planner for over 20 years and in this time, has created many long term relationships with his clients. A key strength of Russell’s experience is working with other industry professionals to ensure the most appropriate recommendations are available to you, as well as his ability to liaise with your existing Accountant, for example, to ensure your broader financial situation is considered.
Russell is joined by a supporting team with experience and knowledge in a number of fields, Charles Whittaker, Suzanne Muir and Joanne Van Homrigh. All the staff employed by Russell Van Homrigh Financial Services are local residents from the Moreton Bay Shire.

The Principal of Russell Van Homrigh Financial Services is Russell Van Homrigh. Russell has been involved in financial services for over 28 years and prides himself on providing you with suitable financial solutions. A key strength of Russell’s experience is working with other industry professionals to ensure the most appropriate recommendations are available to you, as well as his ability to liaise with your existing Accountant, for example, to ensure your broader financial situation is considered.
Russell is also a Member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and complies with their code of ethics.
Support Staff
A number of qualified support staff work closely with Russell and are always available to assist you. Charles Whittaker – Paraplanner, Michael Whittaker – Office Co-ordinator, Suzanne Muir – Client Support Officer, Joanne Van Homrigh – Client Support Officer.
